General Operator

JOB TITLE: General Operator based in Carrigaline, Cork

Hassetts Bakers \& Confectioners Ltd produce a luxury selection of cream cakes, biscuits, cookies and crackers as well as seasonal show stopper cakes for the retail market. We are currently recruiting full\-time General Operators for our Carrigaline bakery to work Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm or 8am to 4:30pm.

This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company and gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment. You will play an important role in our fast\-paced bakery. Successful candidates should also be available to work occasional Saturdays during seasonal periods as dictated by business demands.

MAIN DUTIES

• Working on our production lines, safely packing products and fulfilling orders in a timely manner


• Checking quality standards on all products produced/packed during shift


• Working efficiently as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks


• Completing and maintaining accurate quality and production records


• Adhering to all safety guideline and procedure to maintain a safe working environment


• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation of work areas


• Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the Production Manager

• Must have a permit to work in Ireland


• Fluent in English


• Food production experience desirable but full training will be provided

• Ability to work in a fast\-paced, physically demanding environment essential


• Must have an excellent standard of English literacy and numeracy


• Good timekeeping essential


• Excellent attention to detail

• Working week Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)
