Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum + Quarterly Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Hazardous Goods Warehouse Operative to join a growing specialist distribution business based in Coleshill.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in warehouse operations, logistics, hazardous goods handling, export packing, distribution, or regulated products.
Due to continued growth in international orders, the business is expanding its warehouse team and looking for an individual who is keen to develop specialist skills within a busy and fast-paced environment.
This is not a standard warehouse role. You'll be part of a highly skilled team responsible for preparing, handling and dispatching hazardous materials to customers across the UK and internationally, ensuring all products are processed safely, accurately and in line with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely handle, pack and prepare hazardous goods for UK and international shipment
- Prepare export consignments in line with customer requirements and relevant transport regulations
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Support goods-in, stock control and inventory management activities
- Carry out stock checks and help maintain inventory accuracy
- Liaise with internal teams and external logistics providers regarding shipments and dispatch requirements
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and housekeeping
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Operative, Goods In Operative, Logistics Operative, Export Packer, Dispatch Operative, Distribution Operative, or similar role
- Experience handling hazardous materials, dangerous goods, chemical products, regulated products, or controlled materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a busy warehouse environment
- Positive attitude and team-focused approach
- Dangerous Goods certification
- ADR, IATA and/or IMDG qualifications
- Valid Forklift Truck licence
- Experience within export packing or international logistics
- Competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience and qualifications
