Job Title: Dangerous Goods & Export Packer

Location: Coleshill, Birmingham

Salary: £29,000 - £30,000 + Quarterly Bonus

Hours: Monday-Friday | Permanent

We are recruiting for a Dangerous Goods & Export Packer to join a specialist international distribution business based in Coleshill.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in dangerous goods, hazardous materials, export packing, freight forwarding, logistics, chemical products, aerospace, shipping or warehouse operations involving regulated products.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare products for UK and international shipment.


• Package dangerous goods in accordance with ADR, IATA and IMDG regulations.


• Create shipping documentation and Dangerous Goods Notes (DGNs).


• Update shipment information using ERP systems.


• Support goods-in, stock control and dispatch activities.


• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance.

• Export Packer


• Shipping Coordinator


• Logistics Operative


• Freight Operative


• Warehouse Operative


• Dispatch Operative

Experience Required

• Warehouse, logistics, freight forwarding or export packing experience.


• Experience handling dangerous goods, chemicals, hazardous materials or regulated products.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Highly Desirable

• ADR, IATA and/or IMDG qualifications.


• Dangerous Goods certification.


• DG Office experience.


• Counterbalance or Bendi Forklift licence.


• Aerospace, chemical or industrial logistics experience.
