Who are we?
Based in Kingston, Milton Keynes, we are a national driving school with approximately 850 instructors covering many areas across the UK. We consistently take over 600 bookings per week, exceeding 1,000 bookings during busy periods. On top of that, we have instructors wanting to join our company every week, too.
The company coped well during the COVID\-19 pandemic, the current cost\-of\-living crisis, the 2007–2008 recession, and more. In fact, we have never made a staff member redundant since the company was formed in 2005\.
We have an outstanding national presence on Google, social media, YouTube and through mobile apps. We were also recently announced as National Driving School of the Year 2026, which reflects the strength of our brand, our team and the service we provide across the UK.

About the role
This is a unique opportunity for someone with experience and a proven track record in SEO, social media marketing and creating and managing digital campaigns.
We are a fast\-growing company, with new instructors joining us weekly. In many instances, we need to build website pages for new areas, with high\-quality content to help promote driving lessons for instructors in those locations.
You will liaise with the company director, our senior developer and the office manager on a daily basis regarding the needs of our instructors. You will then act accordingly by adjusting our advertising and marketing activity, budgets and settings where required.

Essential skills and experience
The successful candidate should have:
- Strong hands\-on digital marketing experience, ideally in a similar Marketing Manager or Digital Marketing Manager role.
- Strong content writing and copywriting skills, with the ability to structure content for both users and SEO performance.
- Knowledge and practical experience of SEO, including keyword research, on\-page optimisation, meta titles and descriptions, internal linking, image optimisation and content improvement.
- Experience planning, creating and publishing engaging content across social media platforms, including graphics, captions, campaign posts and short\-form content.
- Experience using Meta Ads or other paid advertising platforms.
- Experience using SEO and analytics tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and similar platforms.
- Experience with local SEO, including Google Business Profile optimisation, reviews and local search visibility.
- Ability to review marketing performance data, identify opportunities and produce clear reports with actionable recommendations.
- Experience creating and managing content calendars across website, blog, social media and email marketing activity.
- Experience improving website and landing page content to increase traffic, engagement and conversions.
- Ability to use design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Express, Figma or similar.
- Good attention to detail, particularly around spelling, grammar, brand consistency and visual presentation.
- Ability to manage multiple marketing tasks and campaigns at the same time.
- A proactive, hands\-on approach, with the confidence to create, publish, optimise and report on marketing activity directly.
The following would also be beneficial:
- Experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
- Video editing experience using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software.
- Ability to create or edit short\-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or YouTube Shorts.
- Knowledge of WordPress and basic HTML editing.
- Basic CSS knowledge.
- Knowledge of Google Ads.
- Experience using CRM systems or marketing automation tools.
- Basic photography or videography skills.
- Experience working with external agencies, freelancers or suppliers where required.
Success in this role will be measured by improvements in website traffic, search visibility, enquiry levels, social media engagement, lead quality and the successful delivery of marketing activity across our key channels.
Training
Training will be provided on how the company operates, our brand guidelines and how our internal systems work.
We are looking for someone with strong existing digital marketing experience who can take ownership of the role quickly, while continuing to learn and develop.
The right person will be proactive, organised, creative, commercially aware and comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment where priorities can change.
Pay: £36,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
