Health \& Safety Compliance \& Operations Manager

Beachborough School is looking to appoint an experienced and proactive Health \& Safety Compliance \& Operations Manager.
Reporting to the Bursar, this varied role combines responsibility for health \& safety, compliance, data protection, and operational management. You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure the school remains compliant with relevant legislation, promote a positive safety culture, oversee key operational functions, and lead the Housekeeping Team and Caretaker.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading the school's health \& safety compliance programme.
- Acting as the school's key data protection contact.
- Monitoring regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate records.
- Supporting estates, facilities, and operational projects.
- Managing service contracts and compliance schedules.
- Line managing the Housekeeping Team and Caretaker.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support school events and day\-to\-day operations.
- Experience in compliance, health \& safety, facilities, operations, or a similar management role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to provide practical, solution\-focused advice.
- Experience of leading and managing teams.
- Good IT skills and attention to detail.
