At AC Hotel by Marriott Birmingham NEC \& Airport, we believe great hospitality is delivered through attention to detail, intuitive service and exceptional guest experiences. We are seeking a Guest Service Manager to join our team on a full\-time basis, working 40 hours per week with a salary of £28,000 per annum plus benefits. Supporting the Operations Manager and leading Duty Management shifts, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards expected of a Marriott\-branded hotel while inspiring your team to deliver outstanding service.

Ideally located near Birmingham Airport, the NEC and Resorts World, our hotel offers excellent transport links via Birmingham International train station and bus interchange, making it easily accessible for team members travelling from across the region. We also provide free on\-site parking for all associates.

About the Role

This is a hands\-on position responsible for supporting the day\-to\-day operation of the hotel and ensuring exceptional guest experiences at every stage of the customer journey. You will lead by example, champion service excellence and help create a welcoming environment for both guests and associates.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Manager in the smooth running of the hotel

  • Undertake Duty Management shifts and take responsibility for hotel operations when required

  • Lead and support front\-of\-house and guest service teams

  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve guest concerns professionally

  • Ensure Marriott brand standards are consistently maintained

  • Coach, motivate and develop team members

  • Assist with training, rotas and daily operational planning

  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, security and compliance

  • Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure a seamless guest journey
About You
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a hotel supervisory or management role

  • Previous experience within Front Office, Guest Services or Hotel Operations

  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

  • A proactive and guest\-focused approach

  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast\-paced environment

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

  • Knowledge of Marriott systems and standards would be advantageous
