Group Business Development Manager

UMS Group is an ambitious and rapidly expanding business operating across property investment, hospitality, leisure, financial services and commercial services.

As we continue our exciting growth journey, we're looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager who thrives on building relationships, creating opportunities and delivering results.

You'll play a key role in driving revenue, securing new business, increasing venue sales and developing long\-lasting partnerships across our diverse portfolio.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identifying, developing and winning new business opportunities across the Group.

  • Driving sales growth across our hospitality and leisure venues, including venue hire, events and group bookings.

  • Building strong and lasting relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders.

  • Converting inbound enquiries into confirmed bookings and revenue\-generating opportunities.

  • Developing creative sales strategies that maximise revenue and occupancy across multiple venues.

  • Networking, attending industry events and actively promoting the UMS Group brand.

  • Working closely with venue managers, marketing teams and senior leadership to deliver commercial objectives.

  • Preparing proposals, presentations and tailored solutions for prospective clients.

  • Monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities for expansion, partnerships and growth.

  • Reporting on pipeline activity, sales performance and KPIs to the Group CEO.
What We're Looking For
  • A confident, motivated and ambitious sales professional with a passion for winning business.

  • Proven experience in business development, sales or account management.

  • Strong relationship\-building, communication and negotiation skills.

  • A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot opportunities and act on them.

  • Results\-driven with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.

  • Comfortable managing multiple opportunities and working in a fast\-paced environment.

  • Experience within hospitality, leisure, events, food \& beverage, property or commercial services would be advantageous.
