Groundworks & Drainage Installation Engineer

We specialise in drainage installations, sewage treatment systems, and associated groundwork projects across domestic and commercial sectors. The role offers varied work with an approximate split of 80% domestic and 20% commercial projects, providing a mix of residential and larger\-scale installations.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Installation of drainage systems and associated pipework


• Installation of sewage treatment plants and wastewater systems


• Excavation and site preparation works


• Safe operation of excavators/diggers and dumpers


• Pipe laying and drainage connections


• Reading and working from site plans and specifications


• Carrying out general groundwork duties


• Working effectively within a team to complete projects safely and to a high standard


• Ensuring work is completed in accordance with health and safety requirements


• Maintaining a professional approach on site and when interacting with customers

The ideal applicant will have:

• Previous experience within drainage installation and groundwork projects


• Experience operating excavators/diggers and dumpers


• CPCS or NPORS qualifications preferred, although experience will also be considered


• A full UK driving licence preferred


• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently when required


• Good communication skills and a professional attitude


• A reliable and hardworking approach with attention to detail
