Graphic Designer
Position Overview
The Graphic Designer is a key role in a rapidly evolving marketing team and will be responsible for assisting our Graphic Design Manager to evolve and support on a variety of projects. Ranging from packaging to POP, improving the visual appeal and polish of our branding across print and digital.
This role would suit an early\-career Graphic Designer who is looking to develop their skills within a busy, fast\-paced marketing team. You will work closely with the Graphic Design Manager across a variety of projects while having the opportunity to develop your own creative ideas and capabilities. The graphic designer will consistently help to innovate our brand presence and be a stakeholder in the successful delivery of the Marketing team’s objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Key areas of accountability are:
1\. Produce highly engaging and aspirational creative work that consistently communicates our brand values to our customers. This will include:
- Designs and update for packaging across the range
- Marketing collateral including consumer and trade adverts
- Point of purchase visuals and displays
- Online content for our website including homepage updates and editorial content
- Effective and shareable creative designs for social media marketing material to inspire our customers and help to grow our social channels.
- Contribute and/or lead idea\-generating sessions
- Support and steer content creation (social media when required)
- Help act as the guarding of our graphic assets library setting up a simple storage and maintenance system, making it easy for the marketing team to access and navigate and keeping it always up to date
- Assist drive and maintain style guides, ensuring that they are adhered to
Key Skills \& Experience
Essential
- A relevant qualification, portfolio or equivalent practical experience in graphic design.
- Previous experience within a creative studio, agency or in\-house design environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Good working knowledge of Apple Mac.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour and visual communication.
- Experience creating artwork for both print and digital applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively to deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels.
- A proactive, positive and adaptable approach, with the ability to remain calm and organised in a fast\-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn, develop and take ownership of creative projects.
- Experience in consumer design, packaging, corporate design or information graphics.
- Experience creating presentations in PowerPoint and/or Keynote.
- Familiarity with project management platforms such as Monday.com, Asana or Wrike.
- Experience using AI tools to support creative development and content production.
- Working knowledge of HTML, After Effects, Cinema 4D, video editing or planogram software.
- Experience working within the consumer goods, retail or pet industry.
- A genuine interest in animals and the pet industry.
- Creative, with a strong passion for design.
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast\-paced environment.
- Confident contributing ideas while also taking direction and feedback.
- Commercially aware and able to understand the purpose behind creative projects.
- Keen to develop their skills and grow within a global business.
- Passionate about producing high\-quality work that delivers against business and brand objectives.
This is an office\-based role in Chertsey, Surrey, and the successful candidate will be required to work from the office on a regular basis.
Candidates should therefore be able to commute to the Chertsey office as required for the role.

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£33,000\.00 per year
