We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Lecturer in Graphic Design to join our Creative \& Performing Arts Department on a part\-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to combine teaching with other professional, academic or personal commitments while making a genuine difference to learners' lives.
At St Helens College and Knowsley Community College, you will support students to develop their Graphic Design knowledge, technical skills and creative practice, helping them progress towards higher education, employment and careers within the creative industries.
Working within a supportive and collaborative curriculum team, you will deliver engaging lessons, assess learner progress and help students achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience teaching Graphic Design, ideally within Further Education, or significant industry experience within the graphic design and creative sectors.
- Holds a relevant degree or professional qualification (L6 degree in a related subject).
- Holds a recognised teaching qualification (or is willing to work towards one).
- Has GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
- Can motivate and inspire learners from a range of backgrounds and abilities.
- Has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Is passionate about supporting student success and achievement.
