Job title: Graduate Electronic Systems Systems Engineer

Location: Rochester (Kent). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3\-4 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 Per Annum \+ £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role description

Graduate Systems Engineers will be part of the collaborative development and supply of products across a diverse mix of commercial and military platforms; Head Up and Head Worn Displays, Safety Critical Pilot Controls, Airborne Control Systems, Maritime Control Systems and Vehicle Control Systems. We encourage our Graduate Systems Engineers to gain a breadth of knowledge across these domains.

Core duties

  • Contributing to system development using a Model Based Engineering (MBE) approach.

  • Creating theoretical analyses and sharing the findings.

  • Carrying out modelling of behavioural scenarios or system performance to understand system operation and interactions, thereby informing improvements.

  • Conducting laboratory test of real time systems comprising interdependent technical disciplines such as electronic, mechanical, optical and software components.

  • Collaborating to develop, validate and manage product requirements.

Qualification requirements
As a minimum requirement you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: Any STEM subject.
