GP Triager/Triage General Practitioner (Face to Face Role)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Triage General Practitioner to join our team on\-site in Hyde on either a Salaried or Locum basis. You will play a central role in managing our digital front door, ensuring patients receive the right care at the right time.

Working on\-site alongside our supportive multi\-disciplinary team (including GPs, Paramedics, Pharmacists, and skilled admin triagers), you will manage online triage requests submitted via AskMyGP.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently triage and resolve a high volume of online patient requests via direct messaging using AskMyGP.


• Provide clear, concise, and safe direct digital messaging to patients for queries manageable remotely.


• Accurately identify and route patients who require an in\-person face\-to\-face consultation or a full telephone assessment.


• Work collaboratively with on\-site duty clinicians, pharmacy, and allied health staff for fast\-track escalations.


• Apply robust safety\-netting protocols (e.g., *Jess’s Rule*) and maintain high standards of clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Competitive Pay Options: Starting rates of £750/day locum or £11,500/session salaried.
