Job Purpose:
The Post holder will be responsible for the overall management and administration of the practice. The role requires a strategic leader who can ensure efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services, financial stability, regulatory compliance, and excellent patient care. This position is pivotal in driving the practice's success and fostering a positive working environment for all staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple practice sites.
- Implement and maintain efficient administrative systems and processes.
- Ensure the smooth running of all practice activities, including patient appointments, record keeping, and information systems.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, manage, and develop a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive working environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure the practice complies with all relevant legislation, healthcare regulations, and standards.
- Maintain up\-to\-date policies and procedures.
- Oversee health and safety protocols and ensure the practice is CQC compliant.
- Patient Experience:
- Promote a patient\-centred approach, ensuring high standards of patient care and service.
- Address patient complaints and feedback promptly and effectively.
- Implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
- Strategic Development:
- Contribute to the strategic development, implementation and integration of services across multiple sites including any new practices.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and business development.
- Stay abreast of changes in the healthcare industry and ensure the practice adapts accordingly.
- IT and Information Management:
- Oversee the practice’s IT systems and ensure data security and patient confidentiality.
- Manage the use of practice management software and electronic patient records.
- Facilities Management:
- Ensure the practice’s facilities are well\-maintained and provide a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Proven experience as a Practice Manager in a GP Surgery setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proactive and innovative approach to problem\-solving.

Pay: £35,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
