To support the company in strategy execution and to drive employee engagement in this exciting new phase, we’re looking for an experienced Global Internal Communications Manager, based in Nootdorp (NL). We are seeking a talented individual who can help develop a world‑class internal communications approach. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in developing creative internal communications concepts and working with senior leadership on strategic storytelling.

Your role

You report to the Head of Internal Communications in this high‑profile global role, working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and senior leaders as a strategic internal communications partner — strengthening leadership communications, strategic storytelling and long‑term value creation.

You collaborate with the global Brand, Marketing \& Communications team (brand, internal communications, PR, public affairs and digital communications) to align and advance Fugro’s strategic communications agenda.

You develop an agenda‑setting internal communications strategy that translates Fugro’s purpose, strategy and global activities into clear, compelling narratives for employees worldwide — driving engagement and supporting strategy execution.

You create enduring, future‑proof internal communications concepts and platforms that enhance leadership visibility and reinforce strategic priorities. You also advise on improving internal (online) channels and support implementation with the Digital Communications team.

You lead audience and campaign research to generate insights that strengthen strategic communications and continuously improve internal communication effectiveness.

What you bring along

• Degree in Corporate Communications, People and/or Change Management or a related field, combined with extensive professional experience.


• Proven track record in a global corporate environment, working effectively across regions and cultures.


• Strong stakeholder leadership, with the ability to collaborate confidently with senior leadership.


• Experience in strategic storytelling and developing high‑impact internal communications concepts.


• Ability to design and deliver global, senior‑level internal communications strategies that drive engagement and support strategy execution.


• Experience with internal (online) communication channels and digital platforms.


• Excellent command of English, both verbal and written; Dutch is a plus.


• A results‑driven, data‑informed mindset, focused on continuous improvement.
