The Role

This is a key role within the Rheumatology service, providing expert clinical care to patients with complex long\-term conditions and supporting the ongoing development of autonomous nurse\-led services.

The post holder will work closely with Consultant Rheumatologists, Service Managers and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and person\-centred care across the patient pathway.

The working pattern for this role is: Monday to Friday

In this key role, you will:

  • Provide expert clinical care for patients with inflammatory arthritis and other complex rheumatological conditions

  • Work within a team of nurse specialists, ensuring the delivery of a coordinated and high\-quality service

  • Undertake and develop and support nurse\-led clinics (e.g. biologic infusion administration, disease monitoring, and flare management)

  • Give expert guidance and recommendations via the patient telephone advice line
What You'll Bring:
  • Registered Nurse or AHP with valid NMC / HCPC Registration

  • Educated to Degree Level

  • Post graduate qualification at a minimum of Level 10 (Hons) or working towards

  • Expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently

  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality / area of practice
