The Role

As part of a multidisciplinary / multiagency team, the post holder will manage a specialist caseload, using evidence based practice and client centred principles to assess, plan and implement care, provide expert advice and support, operating within a defined specialism across NHS Lanarkshire. You will contribute to the development and implementation of a programme of clinical audit and research activity, contribute to the supervision, education and development of members of the multidisciplinary team and provide effective leadership within scope of role.

In this key role, you will:

  • Work autonomously and as part of a team, assuming accountability and responsibility to facilitate the delivery of safe, effective and person\-centred care

  • Use a wide range of skills and strategies to communicate with people about difficult matters or situations

  • Act and influence others to incorporate non\-judgemental, values\-based care into practice

  • Apply knowledge, and raise awareness, of relevant guidance, policies and legislation that govern legal and ethical aspects of service provision
What You'll Bring:
  • Registered Nurse or AHP with valid NMC / HCPC Registration

  • Educated to Degree Level

  • Post graduate qualification at a minimum of Level 10 (Hons) or working towards

  • Expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
