General Production Engineering Operative

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production engineering Operative to join our team in a busy production environment. Initially on a 3 month temporary basis with the possibility of a permanent position at the end of 3 months. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to deliver high quality work, with attention to detail and good organisation. Initial starting salary £12\.71 per hour. This can be reviewed after trail period.

Duties

• Running of our chemical cleaning process to meet daily targets in accordance with safety and operational controls.


• Operate production machinery and equipment efficiently and in accordance with safety protocols and operational guidelines.


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote a safe working environment.


• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain high\-quality level of work.


• Record production data accurately, utilising basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.


• After completion of our in\-house training program progress into Pressure Testing of our manufacturing. A highly controlled and responsible position.


• A good candidate could progress into our welding and brazing training program and achieve these highly technical skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production / engineering / manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.


• Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and data recording.


• Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance is desirable.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.


• A proactive approach to problem\-solving and willingness to learn new skills.
