General Practice Nurse

Job Summary
As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering a range of nursing services and chronic disease management within primary care. You will work closely with our GPs, and other team members to provide proactive, evidence\-based care.

Responsibilities

• Management of long\-term conditions (e.g., asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension)


• Cervical screening (smear tests)


• Childhood and adult immunisations /Flu Immunisation


• Wound care and dressings


• Travel health advice and vaccinations (if trained)

• Registered Nurse (NMC Pin)


• Previous experience in a primary care or community setting


• Cervical cytology and immunisation training


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Desirable


• Experience using EMIS Web

Pay: £30\.00 per hour
