General Operative

\#\# Job Summary
We are currently seeking a General Operative to join our team in a busy waste processing environment. The ideal candidate will assist in various operational and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth running of daily activities.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to be trained to operate and maintain a variety of different plant and machinery such as material handlers, forklift trucks, telehandlers and loading shovels.

\#\# Responsibilities
\- Carry out general labour duties such as cleaning
\- Operate machinery and equipment under supervision whilst being trained
\- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the work area and machinery
\- Assist in plant maintenance and cleaning
\- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

\#\# Requirements
\- Previous experience in waste is advantageous but not essential
\- Ability to work well within a team environment
\- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
\- Physically fit and capable of lifting/carrying objects
\- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities

\-Plant and machinery operation experience is advantageous but not essential as all training will be given.

Shifts.

Monday \- Friday night shifts 9:30pm to 7am

Pay.

We pay a weekly bonus of 10 percent in addition to the hourly rate after the first month of employment (increasing the collective hourly rate to £14\.75\)

We also offer private medical insurance after the first year of employment.

Pay: £13\.41 per hour
