Duties

• Lead and supervise all aspects of pub operations, including front\-of\-house and kitchen functions.


• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.


• Manage the team effectively, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and motivating staff members such as serving staff, baristas, and kitchen personnel.


• Ensure high standards of hospitality are maintained at all times through excellent leadership and customer service.


• Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.


• Implement and uphold food safety standards across all departments in accordance with legal requirements.


• Organise promotional events and special offers to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.


• Handle customer feedback professionally, resolving any issues promptly to maintain the pub’s reputation.


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the premises to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.

• Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant setting.


• Extensive restaurant or pub experience with knowledge of food production, culinary practices, and kitchen operations.


• Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff towards shared goals.


• Previous experience in food safety management is highly desirable.


• Familiarity with hospitality operations including serving, bar management, and general customer service excellence.


• Leadership qualities that inspire confidence among team members and foster a positive working environment.


• Experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not essential; a background in culinary arts or food preparation is beneficial.
