Skinny Coffee House is a vibrant, health\-focused hub specialising in *matcha, acai, flatbreads, coffee,* and *fresh baked goods.* Located within Uddingston Train Station, we’re a fast\-paced, high\-energy store serving a loyal and growing customer base. Our focus is on great products, standout customer service, and creating a stylish yet welcoming space for people to grab healthy fuel on the go. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a passionate and driven General Manager to lead our team and help take the brand to the next level.

The Role:
This is a hands\-on leadership role perfect for someone who’s confident on the floor, thrives in a fast\-paced environment, and wants to be part of an exciting, growing brand. You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and motivating the team to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, support, and manage front\-of\-house staff


• Oversee stock levels, control waste, and manage supplier orders


• Ensure high standards of presentation – from the food and drinks to the shop floor


• Maintain a consistently excellent level of customer service


• Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets


• Help implement new ideas to improve efficiency, customer experience, and overall brand growth


• Act as the main point of contact for customer queries or team issues


• Support training and onboarding of new staff


• Report directly to the owners/brand leads

Who We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in hospitality (Assistant manager, or manager role)


• Strong leadership and team management skills


• Confident working with coffee, food prep, and service in a fast\-paced setting


• A keen eye for detail and high presentation standards (especially with items like acai bowls)


• Friendly, calm under pressure, and highly organised


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• A passion for health, wellness, and creating positive customer experiences

• Have barista training or experience

• Are excited about helping to roll out and grow a young, ambitious brand
