About the Roles

You’ll play a key part in bringing SUPERPARK to life — leading teams, driving performance, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and ensuring the park operates safely, smoothly, and with maximum fun every day.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to take overall responsibility for the day\-to\-day operation and performance of SuperPark Birmingham.

This is a hands\-on leadership role, responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while ensuring the venue operates safely, efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

● Take full responsibility for the day\-to\-day operation and performance of the venue.

● Lead, motivate and develop the management and wider team.

● Manage recruitment, training, rotas, performance, attendance and employee relations.

● Drive sales, revenue, profitability and customer spend across admissions, parties, events, hospitality and other revenue streams.

● Monitor budgets, labour costs, stock, purchasing and overall operating costs.

● Ensure the highest standards of customer service and guest experience.

● Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and effectively.

● Maintain full compliance with health \& safety, fire safety, food hygiene and other relevant regulations.

● Ensure attractions, equipment and facilities are safe, clean, well\-maintained and operational.

● Oversee birthday parties, group bookings, events and corporate/school visits.

● Manage suppliers, contractors, maintenance and venue requirements.

● Monitor KPIs and prepare regular operational and financial reports.

● Work closely with senior management and marketing to maximise footfall, sales and local business opportunities.

● Identify operational improvements and take ownership of resolving issues.

● Ensure company policies, procedures and standards are consistently followed.

● Build a positive, high\-performing and accountable team culture.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent experience in a General Manager role

  • Experience working with children or within a childcare / family\-focused environment is highly beneficial

  • Strong leadership, communication, and people\-management skills

  • A hands\-on, proactive approach in busy, high\-energy environments

  • Commercial awareness and problem\-solving ability

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods

  • Passion for customer experience and team engagement

  • A strong understanding of health \& safety and operational compliance.

  • The ability to work under pressure and make confident decisions.
