Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic roamind General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing teams, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant and kitchen operations, ensuring smooth day\-to\-day functioning.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to maintain quality standards.
- Manage staff schedules, recruit new team members, and provide ongoing training to ensure high performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across all areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally to maintain positive relationships.
- Organise staff meetings and foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hospitality trends and incorporate innovative practices into operations.
- Proven experience in supervising teams within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment.
- Experience in food service management, including overseeing food production and serving processes.
- Familiarity with hotel or barista operations is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Demonstrated ability in managing budgets, controlling costs, and improving operational efficiency.
