Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a focus on food preparation and team management. This role is essential in ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining high standards of service and food safety. The General Manager will work closely with both the culinary team and front\-of\-house staff to create a welcoming environment for our guests.

• Supervise and manage front\-of\-house staff, ensuring they deliver outstanding service to all guests.


• Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.


• Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders.


• Train and mentor staff on hospitality best practices, enhancing their skills in customer service and food handling.


• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries to optimise the dining experience.


• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction.


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front\-of\-house area, ensuring it meets health and safety standards.


• Assist in planning special events or promotions that enhance guest engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel environment.


• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.


• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals.


• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.


• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
