Job Title: Architectural Designer
Role overview: The role will consist of working on residential projects both individually and alongside the architectural design team to provide innovative solutions to client projects, utilising AutoCAD to present technical layouts, plans, furniture designs, elevations and working drawings.
RGI delivers projects of all sizes, including but not limited to bathrooms, kitchens, dressing rooms, offices, boot rooms and utilities. As well as design, this role requires strong organisation skills and attention to detail, as the individual will complete their own costings and ordering per project, ensuring margin is maintained and on budget.
The role is measured against sales\-based targets for a 12 month period, with incentives and profit/sales related bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop \& design customer schemes that are effectively delivered \& maximise revenue \& margin including costings, site surveys and M\&E drawings.
- Kitchen, Bed, Bath, Bespoke Cabinetry \- Design work using AutoCAD, Sketchup and knowledge of post\-processing rendering software
- Identify opportunities and introduce value \- add products \& services from the RGI library.
- Present ideas and designs in client facing presentations, in a professional manner.
- Liaise with the suppliers \& logistics to establish and fulfil customer requirements.
- Keep abreast of interior trends \& emerging design themes.
- Deliver customer experience in accordance with RGI standards.
- Understand customer needs through the development of strong relationships. (Pre/Post sale).
- Problem solving with the ability to identify design, technical, or site\-related challenges and bring solutions.
- Proficient site knowledge and practical understanding of installation processes, construction methods and on\-site coordination.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project runs smoothly and efficiently.
· Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
· Sketchup and other rendering software are also a benefit, but not essential.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

· Working pattern: Tuesday – Saturday 9am\-5pm (with 1 in 3 Saturdays off, then working Monday – Friday)
