Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum
Plus: TRONC tips (typically worth around £3,000 per year)
Hours: 45 hours per week (primarily shift\-based, with dedicated management and administrative time)
Holiday: 31 days per year (includes 3 day Christmas break)

We're now looking for an exceptional General Manager to help lead the next chapter of the business.
This isn't a corporate management role. You'll work closely with the owners, have genuine autonomy and play a key part in shaping the culture, standards and future of the business.
The Role:
This is a hands\-on leadership position.
You'll spend most of your time working alongside the team on the floor, leading busy services, coaching staff and ensuring both venues operate to the highest standards.
Your primary base will be our Tottenham venue, although you'll oversee both Tottenham and Walthamstow, leading our front of house team and working closely alongside our Kitchen Manager to create one cohesive team across both the bar and kitchen.
We're not simply looking for someone to manage shifts.
We're looking for someone who builds great teams.

Your biggest responsibility will be developing people.

Finding the right people is one of the most important parts of this role.
You'll be responsible for:
- Recruiting outstanding people.
- Conducting interviews and trial shifts.
- Completing all onboarding documentation.
- Delivering an induction for every new starter.
- Providing consistent training and coaching.
- Manage probation and ongoing performance.
You'll take genuine pride in maintaining exceptionally well\-run venues.
You'll ensure:
- Excellent housekeeping throughout both sites.
- Outstanding cleanliness and hygiene.
- Well\-organised back\-of\-house areas.
- Consistent daily and weekly procedures.
- Equipment is maintained and cared for.
- Standards never slip.
- Identifying and resolving issues \- taking ownership of problems (not just escalating)
Customer Experience:
You'll create memorable customer experiences by:
- Ensuring every customer receives warm, knowledgeable and friendly service.
- Being visible on the floor.
- Leading busy services.
- Supporting the team during challenging shifts.
- Resolving customer issues professionally.
- Maintaining excellent communication between the bar and kitchen.
You'll work closely with the owners to ensure both venues continue to operate successfully.
Responsibilities include:
- Weekly meetings and clear ongoing communication with the owners to ensure the smooth running of both venues.
- Managing rotas, staffing levels, recording hours for payroll. Optimising the rota to ensure staff numbers are not excessive or lacking
- Keeping labour costs under control.
- Ordering beer, bar stock and consumables.
- Managing supplier and service provider relationships.
- Monitoring stock levels and reducing waste.
- EPOS administration.
- Supporting the continued success of both venues.
- Bringing constructive ideas to the table, with a plan for delivery

Essential Experience:
- Previous hospitality management experience.
- Experience managing teams.
- Experience recruiting, training and developing staff.

- Availability to work evenings, weekends and key trading periods.
