General Manager

The Role:
The General Manager will take full responsibility and ownership of the store and will work to develop a strong and supportive sales team who consistently deliver the Dinos standard in food quality and service.
As our General Manager, you will recognise that at Dinos the customer is ‘King’ and that your store’s success relies on you providing customers with a warm and friendly environment where your team serve freshly prepared food of the highest quality.
The General Manager will provide training and on\-the\-job coaching for the team when:
- Taking customer orders
- Processing payments
- Cooking and preparing food orders
- Maintaining a clean kitchen and restaurant environment
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene.

- Stock Ordering and Waste Management
- Customer Interface and Complaint Resolution

As the General Manager, you will be accountable for operating the store efficiently and effectively on a daily basis and will be required to:
- Manage staffing budgets and authorise staff wages and holiday requests.
- Manage staff scheduling and rotas to ensure sufficient cover at all times.
- Proactively drive sales and set clear objectives for your team.
- Protect profit margins by implementing effective stock and waste management controls.
- Ensure daily sales (cash \& visa) balance correctly.
- Manage the daily stock orders to ensure sufficient product availability.
- Ensure minimum wastage through effective stock control and stock rotation.
- Provide on the job coaching and training for existing staff.
- Create a great culture in your store by focusing on the values of the business.
- Ensure standards of Food Safety and Hygiene are maintained whilst complying with Food Safety, Health \& Safety and HACCP regulations.
- Manage the cleanliness of the store (inside and outside) and the cleanliness of the equipment.
- Manage the recruitment, onboarding and induction of new starters.
- Ensure staff retention in your store.
- Oversee the maintenance of the building along with the internal and external customer aspects.
- Ensure the economic, safe and efficient use of equipment.
- Prepare and review operational reports for the business.
- Set clear objectives for yourself and your team.
- Attend scheduled management meetings.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Resolve customer complaints and queries.
- Implement promotional campaigns from head office.
- Communicate all business updates, announcements and initiatives to your team.
A minimum of 5 Years experience managing a quick service restaurant. Ideally with drive\-thru experience.
A passion for delivering excellent food quality and customer service.
Proven ability to achieve sales, quality and operational targets.
Strong business acumen, leadership and people skills.
Flexible approach to working hours, including evening and weekend work.
A hands\-on leadership style with a strong focus on customer experience, team development and operational standards.
Driving licence and access to own vehicle as travel will be required during the initial training period.
