We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar and restaurant establishment. The candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high\-quality customer experiences. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage bar and restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Oversee kitchen team
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
- Lead team management initiatives to foster a motivated and cohesive workforce
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well\-stocked at all times
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction
- Implement standard operating procedures for service excellence and safety protocols
- Manage financial transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures
- Monitor and manage all stock levels, including weekly ordering of stock.

- Proven supervising experience within a hospitality environment, ideally in a restaurant or busy city bar
- restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Experience of working in busy bar settings and setting up new bars and restaurants preferable.
- Experience in serving beverages, including barista skills or bartending expertise
- Demonstrated team management abilities with strong leadership qualities
- Familiarity with hospitality standards related to food safety and customer service excellence
- Previous experience in hotel or large\-scale hospitality operations is advantageous
- Experience with cell management, including cleaning lines and changing gas.
Pay: £29,000\.00\-£32,000\.00 per year
