At Engelberg Residential Home, we are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant to join our already established team for a minimum 1 year fixed contract to cover Maternity Leave.

Team Leader
As a Team Leader, you will have prior experience in a care environment, equipping you with the skills to thrive in a fast\-paced care home while effectively leading a team.
Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative approach are essential to ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care and enjoy a fulfilling, comfortable life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and maintaining high standards of care for residents.
- Ensuring residents' needs are met and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Preparing, updating, and reviewing Resident Care Plans.
- Administering prescribed medication and maintaining accurate records in line with company policies.
- Facilitating clear and effective handovers at the start and end of each shift.
What matters most is your genuine care, enthusiasm, and ability to bring positive energy to our residents' lives.
Our ideal candidate must:
- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have 2 years’ experience working in similar care environment.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
