This is a unique opportunity combining Dental Nursing, Patient Coordination, Reception Support and Practice Organisation. About the Role

Working closely with the Principal Dentist, Treatment Coordinator and wider clinical team, you will play a key role in supporting patients throughout their treatment journey while helping maintain the smooth day\-to\-day operation of the practice.

This role is ideal for a Dental Nurse who enjoys:

Key Responsibilities

Clinical \& Dental Nursing Duties

  • Provide chairside support to the Principal Dentist and wider clinical team

  • Prepare surgeries and treatment rooms to the highest clinical standards

  • Assist with a wide range of NHS and Private dental procedures

  • Support advanced treatments including implants, Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry (full training provided where required)

  • Maintain excellent infection prevention, decontamination and cross\-infection control procedures

  • Ensure accurate and complete clinical records and documentation

  • Assist in maintaining surgery stock and equipment
Patient Coordination \& Communication
  • Support patients throughout their treatment journey from initial enquiry to treatment completion

  • Work closely with the Treatment Coordinator to deliver an exceptional patient experience

  • Follow up patient enquiries and treatment consultations

  • Help convert consultations into active treatment plans

  • Clearly explain appointments, treatment plans, finance options and next steps

  • Build trust and long\-term relationships with patients

  • Provide reassurance and excellent customer service throughout each patient's journey
Reception \& Administration
  • Answer telephone, email and online enquiries professionally

  • Welcome patients warmly and create a positive first impression

  • Manage appointment bookings and diary scheduling efficiently

  • Help maintain smooth appointment flow throughout the day

  • Process patient paperwork and maintain accurate patient records

  • Confidently use Dentally and other practice management software

  • Liaise effectively with patients, clinicians and external providers
Practice Organisation \& Team Support
  • Maintain a highly organised and structured workflow

  • Prioritise tasks effectively within a busy practice

  • Support practice marketing, patient engagement and social media initiatives

  • Assist with patient retention and practice growth projects

  • Help maintain a positive, welcoming practice environment

  • Work collaboratively with all members of the team

  • Contribute positively to the culture, values and continued success of the practice
What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Qualified Dental Nurse with valid GDC registration (or currently working towards qualification)

  • Minimum 1\-2 years Dental Nursing experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Outstanding customer service and patient care skills

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

  • Professional, caring and compassionate approach

  • Reliable, dependable and able to work independently

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Computer literate and confident using dental software

  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

  • Willingness to learn and continuously develop
Desirable
  • Experience using Dentally software

  • Experience within Private Dentistry

  • Additional qualifications in Radiography, Sedation, Orthodontics or Oral Surgery

  • Experience supporting Treatment Coordination

  • Knowledge of Invisalign, implants or advanced dental treatments

  • Social media and digital marketing awareness

  • Experience in patient journey management
