GDC Registered Dental Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety


• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in accordance with infection control protocols


• Providing pre\- and post\-operative care instructions to patients


• Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining organisational standards


• Supporting patients through effective communication, addressing their concerns and questions with professionalism


• Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations within the practice


• Managing appointment schedules efficiently to optimise patient flow


• Supporting administrative tasks such as stock management and ordering supplies

Qualifications

• GDC Registration as a Dental Nurse is essential


• Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting is desirable


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively


• Good IT literacy, including familiarity with dental practice management software


• Knowledge of infection control standards and health \& safety regulations in dentistry


• Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate professionalism at all times
