Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within a busy and vibrant dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to lead a talented team, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and contribute to the ongoing success of our restaurant.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Lead and motivate the team, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive working environment
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high\-quality standards
- Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control effectively
- Implement training programmes to develop team skills in hospitality, food production, and customer service
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints promptly to uphold excellent service standards
- Organise staff rotas, optimise labour costs, and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with hygiene standards
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership capabilities with excellent team management skills
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with culinary processes, food production, and kitchen operations
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is advantageous
- Knowledge of barista techniques and serving procedures is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour
- A recognised qualification in hospitality management or culinary arts is preferred
