Gate Automation Engineer – Installation \& Service

Birmingham \| Competitive Salary \+ Overtime \+ Company Van \+ Benefits

Good engineers are hard to find. We know that.

If you’re an experienced Gate Automation, Access Control or Electrical Engineer who knows how to install, commission, fault\-find and fix systems properly, we want to hear from you.

This isn’t a role for someone looking to simply tick boxes and move on to the next job.

It’s for an engineer who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems and wants to work for a company that trusts its engineers, provides the right equipment and invests in its people.

The Role

You’ll work across the UK installing, servicing and maintaining a range of automated gates, barriers, turnstiles and access control systems. You will also have the opportunity to work in house at the Electro Automation Facility. Role will be 70% travel and 30% in house.

Your day\-to\-day work will include:

  • Installing and commissioning automated gates, barriers, turnstiles and associated equipment

  • Electrical and electro\-mechanical installation and fault\-finding

  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently

  • Planned servicing and preventative maintenance

  • Testing systems and ensuring they are operating safely and correctly

  • Working directly with customers and representing the company professionally

  • Completing accurate service reports and job documentation

  • Working independently while having the support of an experienced team behind you
