The Role
You’ll work across the UK installing, servicing and maintaining a range of automated gates, barriers, turnstiles and access control systems. You will also have the opportunity to work in house at the Electro Automation Facility. Role will be 70% travel and 30% in house.
Your day\-to\-day work will include:
- Installing and commissioning automated gates, barriers, turnstiles and associated equipment
- Electrical and electro\-mechanical installation and fault\-finding
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
- Planned servicing and preventative maintenance
- Testing systems and ensuring they are operating safely and correctly
- Working directly with customers and representing the company professionally
- Completing accurate service reports and job documentation
- Working independently while having the support of an experienced team behind you
- Working safely and to a consistently high standard
We're interested in engineers with real hands\-on experience.
You could currently be working in:
- Gate Automation
- Access Control
- Automatic Doors
- Barriers / Parking Systems
- Security Systems
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Automation
- A similar electro\-mechanical engineering environment
You'll need:
- Proven experience in an engineering, installation or service environment
- Strong electrical/electro\-mechanical fault\-finding skills
- The ability to diagnose problems and find practical solutions
- Confidence working independently on customer sites
- Good customer\-facing and communication skills
- A full UK driving licence
- A professional approach and pride in the quality of your work
