Location: Stockport and surrounding areas (field\-based)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday (standard working hours, with optional overtime)
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays (increasing with service)

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our team covering Stockport and surrounding areas.
The Role
You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems in residential properties. This role is ideal for a skilled and reliable engineer who takes pride in delivering excellent workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out annual boiler servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs on a wide range of boilers and heating systems
- Identifying and resolving issues efficiently on first visit where possible
- Completing all required job reports and paperwork accurately (via PDA/CRM system)
- Providing clear and professional communication with customers
- Highlighting any further works or safety concerns
- Ensuring compliance with Gas Safe regulations and company standards
- Managing van stock and ensuring parts are used efficiently
Essential
- Proven experience in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing domestic gas boilers
- Valid Gas Safe Registration
- Strong fault\-finding and problem\-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Experience working in a field\-service environment
- Knowledge of a variety of boiler manufacturers
- Experience using job management systems (e.g. Commusoft or similar)
- Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
