We are seeking a motivated and skilled Gas Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable gas services for our clients. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and service gas appliances and piping systems in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications


• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with gas systems, performing necessary repairs promptly and efficiently


• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to carry out installations and maintenance tasks


• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards


• Perform heavy lifting when handling equipment or materials during installation or repair processes


• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and parts used


• Assist with plumbing tasks related to gas systems and support assembly of new installations or components as needed

Experience

• Proven experience working as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role within the mechanical or plumbing industry


• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing techniques, and safety procedures related to gas services


• Skilled in welding, carpentry, and the use of hand tools and power tools for various installation tasks


• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, pressure calculations, or material estimations


• Experience with heavy lifting equipment and commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory


• Familiarity with assembly processes for complex gas\-related equipment or systems is advantageous


• Valid certifications related to gas safety (such as CORGI or equivalent) are highly desirable

Pay: £60,219\.62\-£70,000\.00 per year
