We are Just The Right Temperature, a family\-run heating and air conditioning company in Farnham. Darren and Claire run it, and there is no head office, no call centre and no area manager. When you work here you know everyone you work with.

We are looking for an experienced, Gas Safe registered engineer who wants to be more than a boiler engineer. Air conditioning is the fastest\-growing part of our business, and we will train and fund you to work across both. Most companies will not do that. We will, because it is what our customers are asking for.

Who we are looking for, honestly

This is physical work and we do it properly, no cutting corners because it is Friday afternoon. We take pride in our work, our vans and ourselves, and we would rather have one engineer who cares than three who are just getting through the day. If you are the sort who does a job once and does it right, you will fit in here.

What you will be doing

Boiler servicing, fault\-finding and repairs

Boiler and unvented cylinder installations

Central heating work across domestic properties

Learning air conditioning alongside the heating work

Looking after customers within about 25 miles of Farnham

What you will need

Current Gas Safe registration

Solid experience of boiler servicing and fault\-finding

Full UK driving licence

The sort of person who is happy in someone's home and leaves it tidy

Someone who turns up when they said they would, every time

Helpful, but we can train you

Unvented hot water certification

F\-Gas or air conditioning experience

Heat pump experience

Manufacturer training (Worcester, Vaillant, Viessmann, Ideal)

What we offer

£35,000 – £45,000 a year, depending on experience and qualifications

Location: Farnham, Surrey (GU9\), working within roughly 25 miles

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours, with occasional Saturday emergency cover
