Accountabilities:
You will contribute to the ongoing development and evolution of a live mobile game, taking ownership of features and improvements while maintaining a high standard of quality and player experience.
- Develop client-facing gameplay features with a strong focus on UI, animations, visual polish, and overall user experience.
- Design and implement core gameplay improvements that enhance engagement and playability.
- Develop new meta features and systems that expand the game's experience.
- Enhance, maintain, and refine existing gameplay and technical systems.
- Bring innovative ideas and creative approaches to gameplay features while adapting them to the game's established experience.
- Contribute to game design decisions and help translate concepts into polished, playable experiences.
- Participate in testing, iteration, and refinement based on player feedback and team insights.
- Collaborate closely with designers, developers, artists, and other specialists in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges while maintaining strong performance and optimization.
- Take ownership of projects and features according to your individual strengths and areas of expertise.
- Contribute to maintaining high technical and creative standards across the game.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a hands-on game developer with strong Unity and C# expertise, proven mobile game experience, and a passion for building polished and entertaining player experiences.
- 5+ years of professional experience working with C# and Unity.
- Proven track record of developing and shipping successful mobile games.
- Strong understanding of gameplay development and the casual mobile gaming market.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimization, performance, and technical quality.
- Experience developing UI, animations, gameplay systems, or other player-facing features.
- Exceptional expertise in a specialized area such as animation, particle systems, shaders, architecture, performance optimization, or networking is a strong advantage.
- Creative and hands-on approach to development, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to contribute ideas and make practical decisions in a fast-moving game development environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with senior, multidisciplinary teams and take ownership of assigned features.
