We are looking for caring and dedicated Support Workers to join our growing Supported Living team.

About the Role

As a Supported Living Support Worker, you will provide person\-centred support to individuals within their own homes and the wider community. You will play a vital role in helping people maintain their independence, develop life skills, and achieve personal goals.

No two days are the same. You will support individuals to live meaningful lives, participate in activities they enjoy, and become active members of their local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals with daily living activities whilst promoting independence

  • Assisting with personal care where required

  • Prompting, assisting, or administering medication in line with training and company procedures

  • Supporting individuals with meal planning, food preparation, and healthy eating

  • Helping individuals manage household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment

  • Supporting individuals to access education, employment, volunteering, and community activities

  • Accompanying individuals to appointments, social events, shopping trips, and leisure activities

  • Promoting choice, dignity, privacy, and respect at all times

  • Encouraging individuals to develop independent living skills and achieve personal outcomes

  • Completing accurate daily records, reports, and documentation

  • Safeguarding individuals and reporting concerns in line with company policies

  • Building positive relationships with service users, families, professionals, and colleagues

RequirementsEssential
  • A caring, compassionate, and empathetic nature

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to promoting independence, inclusion, and person\-centred care

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
Desirable
  • Previous experience in Supported Living, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, or Social Care

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care

  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours of concern

  • Pet friendly (some people we support may have pets)
