Housing Services Manager
Summary:
The Housing Services Manager will oversee the delivery of high\-quality housing services in Luton, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the living standards of our residents while managing a dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing strategies to improve service delivery and resident satisfaction, contributing to the overall mission of our organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the housing services team, ensuring effective service delivery and staff development.
- Develop and implement housing policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate housing services performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Engage with residents to gather feedback and enhance service provision.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including local authorities and community organisations.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe living environment.
- A degree in Housing Management, Social Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the housing or property sector.
- Strong understanding of housing legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using housing management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
