Job Title: Finance Officer / Assistant Accountant (AAT / ACCA)
Location: Wickford, Essex
Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday
Contract: Full Time

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Finance Officer / Assistant Accountant to join our team full time. This role will support the day\-to\-day financial operations of a group of 6 businesses , ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and effective financial control. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified or ACCA part\-qualified professional looking for a flexible role within a dynamic SME environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including purchase and sales ledgers

  • Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations

  • Assist with monthly management accounts preparation

  • Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns

  • Assist with budgeting and financial reporting

  • Support year\-end processes

Pay: £40,000\.00\-£50,000\.00 per year
