Full Time Driver/Warehouse

Job Summary

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vans and commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated destinations


• Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and fuel usage


• Load and unload items, including heavy lifting when necessary, with proper safety precautions


• Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate documentation of all shipments


• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues


• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle to ensure safety and professionalism

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or van driver in a fast\-paced environment


• Strong knowledge of commercial driving practices and traffic regulations


• Physical ability to lift heavy packages regularly during loading and unloading processes


• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers


• Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with handling goods safely


• Ability to follow detailed instructions, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications in commercial driving preferred

Pay: £12\.71\-£16\.00 per hour
