Full Stack Java Developer

This role is to support the development work required for the re‑factoring of key applications for DWP. You will work directly with client teams and within a large programme team to successfully build, update, and migrate the application. This will include the design, development, and assurance of key application components.

Mandatory:

Java (with Spring), UNIX, SQL \& Gitlab experience

Experience with popular Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, Struts, JSF) and libraries (e.g., Apache Commons, Guava).

Familiarity with micro\-services architecture and related technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Swagger).

Public Sector Experience

This role is to support the development activities and support the team overseeing the re‑factoring of the application for DWP as part of the LTD Programme. You will work directly with IBM and client teams, as well as within a large programme team, to deliver the application changes required for a successful migration. This will include designing, developing, and assuring key application components and contributing to the overall technical implementation.

5 Years UK Residency; BPSS Mandatory; IBM will put resources through BPSS; Shares \& Transfers maybe requested depending on client sponsorship

Remote within UK \- travel within UK expected as required by project

Pay: £300\.00\-£350\.00 per day

Work Location: Hybrid remote in London
