About You

We don’t expect you to know everything yet, that’s the whole point of an internship. What matters is that you're curious, motivated, and excited to learn. At TicketSwap, you’ll get the space and support to develop your skills, try things out, and grow as a developer. You’ll work with people who enjoy helping each other, and who want you to succeed. If you’re eager to learn and keen to contribute, we’d love to have you on board.

  • You’re currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Communication and Multimedia Design or a related field;

  • You’re interested in doing an operational (or “meewerk”) internship, unfortunately we cannot offer a thesis internship for this role;

  • Some experience in front\-end development, preferably in React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;

  • A genuine interest in front\-end development and building great user experiences;

  • It’s a plus if you’re also interested in iOS development;

  • You enjoy solving problems and learning new technologies;

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative and international environment;

  • Based in or near Amsterdam, and excited to work from our city\-center office;

  • Available as an intern from September ‘26, for 32\-40 hours a week for at least 5 months;

  • You have a portfolio website where you can showcase some of your side projects and/or school projects;

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

What you’ll get out of it

Depending on your ambition, this internship can be anything from hands\-on experience in front\-end development to a launchpad for your future engineering career.

It’s a paid, full\-time internship with a monthly compensation of €500\. We’re flexible with your schedule and happy to work around your classes and school assignments. We get that life’s busy.

By the end of your internship, you’ll have real\-world experience with React, TypeScript, and modern web development practices, plus insight into how a global marketplace operates at scale. You’ll ship code, contribute to projects used by millions of fans, and learn from a talented team of engineers passionate about creating great digital experiences.
