Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our bustling hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising front\-of\-house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for food, team management, and delivering memorable guest experiences. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front\-of\-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring timely and efficient operations
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest enquiries to optimise customer satisfaction
- Uphold food safety standards in accordance with health regulations and company policies
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality and service excellence
- Train new staff members on service procedures, health \& safety protocols, and company standards
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front\-of\-house and kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front\-of\-house area
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety regulations
- Experience in serving, hospitality, or culinary roles is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests and team members
- Previous experience in restaurant or kitchen environments is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
