This is a daytime role, working alongside our management and front of house team to ensure the smooth running of our cafe bar.

This is a fully hands on supervisory role. You be responsible for supporting and leading the front of house team during service, while remaining actively involved in all aspects of the day to day operation. This included serving customers, taking orders, maintaining service standards and supporting the team to deliver an excellent customer experience in a timely manner.

We are seeking a dedicated , reliable and enthusiastic individual who can lead by example , work well under pressure and take pride in delivering high standards of customer service.

As a Front of House Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction in our food and beverage operations.You will also play an important role in supporting the management team, ensuring the smooth running of a daytime service and helping to create a welcoming and professional environment for both customers and staff.

Due to licensing laws, the applicant must be over the age of 18 to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities:
\- Lead and supervise the front of house team during service, ensuring the smooth running of the daytime operation.

\- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
\- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional products and deals to enhance the guest experience
\- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner ensuring they are presented to the required standard
\- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly
\- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation and delivery
\- Monitor cleanliness, presentation and organization ensuring standards are maintained
\- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
\-When required, preparing and serving drinks to the required standard

\-Help maintain a positive, professional and welcoming environment for all customers and staff

\- Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the management team and ensure the smooth running of the business

Qualifications:
\- Previous experience in a supervisor role, preferably in a restaurant/bar setting
\- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
\- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
\- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast\-paced environment
\- Knowledge of culinary terminology and food preparation techniques is a plus
