About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and customer\-focused Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at our busy restaurant with rooms. This is a hands\-on role requiring excellent customer service skills, strong organisational abilities, and the confidence to lead by example.

As Restaurant Supervisor, you will be a key member of the front\-of\-house team, acting as the first point of contact for both restaurant and hotel guests. You will help ensure the smooth day\-to\-day operation of the restaurant while assisting with hotel reception duties, including guest check\-ins and check\-outs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising daily restaurant service and ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.

  • Welcoming and assisting restaurant and hotel guests in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Managing guest check\-ins and check\-outs efficiently and accurately.

  • Acting as the first point of contact for guest enquiries, requests, and complaints.

  • Supporting and motivating front\-of\-house team members during service.

  • Ensuring excellent customer service and guest satisfaction throughout the guest journey.

  • Taking reservations and managing restaurant bookings.

  • Assisting with room reservations and guest communications.

  • Handling payments and cash reconciliation procedures.

  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the restaurant and reception areas.

  • Working closely with kitchen, housekeeping, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.

  • Assisting with staff training and maintaining service standards.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant supervision, hotel reception, or a similar customer\-facing role.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.

  • Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • Experience with hotel booking systems is advantageous but not essential.

  • A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
