Front of House Staff (Lates)
Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and reliable Front of House Member to support the daily operations of the padel club. The role requires excellent customer service skills, a hands\-on approach, digital marketing experience and the ability to create a welcoming environment for all players and visitors. The candidate will be organised, proactive, and comfortable working late shifts from 7pm till 4am (max)
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service \& Member Experience
Providing excellent customer service by welcoming players, answering enquiries, using the Playtomic schedule, assisting members and guests, and ensuring every visitor has a positive experience at the club. You will need to maintain cleanliness and presentation of the padel club including courts, seating areas, reception, café areas, and changing facilities to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.
Scheduling \& Player Management
Managing player check\-ins, assisting with court bookings, and helping organise the daily club schedule to ensure smooth operations throughout the day.
Community Interaction
Building strong relationships with members and visitors by interacting with customers in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner.
Morning Operations
Opening the club and supporting morning operations with shifts starting from 5:45am, ensuring the club is fully prepared for members and players at the start of the day.
Management Support
Supporting the management team with day\-to\-day operations and assisting the club manager where required.
Barista Duties
Preparing and serving coffees, drinks, and light refreshments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation within the café and front desk area.
Digital Marketing
Experience in managing a social media (personal/business) and graphic design with the ability to use equipment for photography and videography as well as editing and a portfolio to support your experience
Skills \& Experience
Essential Requirements
Previous customer service experience, experience as a barista, digital marketing experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, reliability and punctuality, and flexibility to work late night shifts.
Desirable Qualities
Preferred Attributes
Qualification in a digital marketing/graphic design related subject. A passion for sport, hospitality, and community engagement, previous experience in a leisure, fitness, or hospitality environment.
Salary
Competitive, depending on experience.
Pay: £10\.85\-£14\.00 per hour
