We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Front of House Manager to lead our front of house team and help deliver outstanding customer experiences across our bistro and events venue.
This is a hands\-on role for someone who thrives in a busy hospitality environment and leads by example. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth day\-to\-day service, maintaining high standards, supporting and motivating the team, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to lead a vibrant team while delivering outstanding guest experiences. We are looking for someone who can suggest and implement new ideas and initiatives to ensure a smooth operation and increased revenue. Applicants should demonstrate a passion for hospitality excellence combined with strong organisational abilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and leading front of house operations, including staff rotas and day\-to\-day operational duties
- Supervising, training and developing team members
- Delivering excellent customer service and handling customer feedback
- Managing online booking system and EPOS software, ensuring customer flow to optimise efficiency
- Supporting private events and functions
- Ensuring cleanliness, organisation and presentation standards are maintained
- Working closely with kitchen and management teams
- Cellar management, including monitoring stock levels, overseeing stock control procedures and wastage control
- Working with suppliers to source products competitively and ensure strong profit margins
- Ensuring all health \& safety procedures are followed and maintained across the business, including completing, reviewing and updating risk assessments
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Positive, friendly and professional approach
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and events
- A genuine passion for hospitality
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanour suitable for guest interaction
