Freelance Studio Assistant - Photography Studio
Overview
Loft Studios London is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Freelance Studio Assistants to join our studio team.
We are a busy photography, film and events studio complex, and this is a hands\-on role supporting the day\-to\-day running of our studios and ensuring our clients receive an excellent level of service.
This role would particularly suit someone looking to gain experience within the photography, film or production industry, including those interested in progressing into photography assisting, production assisting or other roles within the creative industry.
How the freelance shifts work
Our freelance team provides their availability in advance each week, and shifts are allocated depending on confirmed studio bookings.
We ask freelancers to provide a minimum of two days' availability per week. Please note that providing availability does not guarantee that a shift will be offered, as the amount of work available varies depending on studio bookings.
Once you have submitted a day as available and Loft Studios confirms you for a shift on that day, you will be expected to work the confirmed shift.
Working hours vary depending on bookings and may include early starts, late finishes and occasional weekend work. Flexibility is therefore important.
The Role
You'll work closely with our Studio Floor Manager and wider studio team to prepare studios, assist clients and production teams, move equipment and catering around the site, and keep our studios clean, organised and ready for shoots.

We are particularly looking for people with previous hospitality or customer\-facing experience who are interested in moving into the photography, film and studio industry.
Experience in a bar, restaurant, hotel, café, events venue or similar fast\-paced environment is ideal, as a large part of the role involves providing a high level of service to our clients and production teams.
Previous photography or studio experience is not required. We're looking for reliable, proactive people with a great attitude who are keen to learn and gain experience within the studio industry.
