Freelance HVAC Contracts Manager / Project Director

AVC Integrations Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Freelance HVAC Contracts Manager / Project Director to work with us on prestigious high\-end residential and commercial projects throughout Central London.

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded HVAC professional who combines strong engineering knowledge, BIM/Revit expertise, project leadership, procurement, sales, and client management skills.

We are looking for an individual who wants to operate as a trusted project delivery partner and directly benefit from the profitability and success of the projects they manage.

Compensation

• £250 per day


• 10% share of project profit

A formal legal agreement will be put in place to clearly define project profit calculations, reporting procedures, payment terms, and profit share entitlement, providing strong contractual protection and transparency for both parties.

Responsibilities

• Lead high\-end residential and commercial HVAC projects from enquiry through handover


• Manage project profitability, programme, procurement, labour and resources


• Attend client, consultant and contractor meetings


• Coordinate architects, interior designers, consultants, suppliers and installation teams


• Develop new business opportunities within existing and new client relationships


• Support tendering, estimating and project acquisition activities


• Manage project risks and commercial performance


• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards


• Provide leadership throughout design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover phases

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' experience within the HVAC industry


• Strong experience delivering high\-end residential and commercial projects


• Excellent knowledge of:


• HVAC systems


• VRV / VRF systems


• Heat Pumps


• Ventilation systems


• Fan Coil Units


• Hydronic systems


• Mechanical building services


• Strong HVAC design and calculation experience


• Ability to perform system sizing and engineering calculations


• Strong understanding of installation, commissioning and project delivery


• Ability to review and interpret technical specifications and drawings


• Full UK driving licence


• Right to work in the UK

BIM \& Revit Requirements

• Advanced Revit skills


• Strong BIM coordination experience


• Experience managing BIM projects from concept through construction


• Ability to produce and modify Revit models directly


• Ability to review and coordinate BIM models


• Strong understanding of clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination


• Ability to provide clear and accurate instructions to BIM/Revit designers


• Must have own high\-performance computer suitable for Revit and BIM work

Commercial \& Project Management Requirements

• Strong project management and leadership skills


• Strong order management skills


• Strong procurement and supplier management skills


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously


• Strong commercial awareness and cost control capabilities


• Ability to monitor project budgets and profitability


• Ability to prepare project reports and financial updates

Sales \& Business Development

• Proven ability to generate revenue opportunities


• Experience selling HVAC solutions within high\-end residential and commercial sectors


• Ability to prepare and present technical and commercial proposals

• Ability to identify additional works and variation opportunities


• Strong negotiation and closing skills


• Comfortable representing AVC Integrations Ltd at senior\-level client meetings

Freelance Requirements

• Self\-employed or operating through a limited company


• Own laptop/workstation capable of running Revit and BIM software efficiently


• Able to attend client meetings and site visits throughout Central London


• Available for regular project leadership and management responsibilities
